Join us in creating a 31-day love letter to our History Festival 💌
It feels strange to start May without the promise of 31 days (although usually more!) of historical delights to discover as part of South Australia’s History Festival. Even though we celebrate our wonderful history every day at the History Trust of South Australia, it is sad not to have the chance this year to come together as state-wide community to share our stories and collections.
However, one thing that continues to delight us and brings a joyful tear to our eye, is the passion of the people who love this festival just as much as we do. Event organisers, volunteers, sponsors and history enthusiasts continue to turn up year after year, in search of a good story and a good scone. We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from you all, and for that we sincerely thank you. Just like you, we will be back in force in 2021 to celebrate and deliver South Australia’s History Festival.
So for now, over on the page for South Australia’s History Festival, we want to spend the next 31 days paying homage to the things we love about this Festival. We will highlight some of SA’s fantastic events, people and stories from the past 15 years. We hope you will join us by following our posts and sharing with us some of the things you love about this Festival.
