Walking With Adelaide’s Past

Walking with Adelaide’s Past displays the changing times, fashion and development of the City of Adelaide throughout history. This exhibition consists of historic images of people moving through the streets of Adelaide, from men in bowler hats walking to work in the early 1900s, to busy Christmas shoppers on Rundle Street before the conversion to Rundle Mall in the 1960s. Through Walking with Adelaide’s Past we can better understand our future.

Available to view in the History Hub spaces of the City Library from Tuesday 28 July to Tuesday 27 October 2020.

This exhibition is presented in partnership with the City of Adelaide Archives.
