What does a First Nations collection look like?
Tuesday 17 November, 2020 at 5.30pm via Zoom

What do you think of when you hear of a First Nations history collection?
This presentation by Jacinta Koolmatrie, Curator of First Nations History at the Migration Museum, will take a look at what First Nations histories are represented in the History Trust’s collection. Using her experience and knowledge of working with the State History and South Australian Museum collections, Jacinta will explore what a First Nations collection should look like and how colonial objects can be reinterpreted to understand First Nations histories.
This free lecture is part of the History Trust’s Talking History series.
This event will commence at 5.30pm via Zoom. There will be a short Q&A at the end.Register now
