| Join one of the National Trust of South Australia’s most popular annual events, celebrating the remarkable pioneering women who once trekked from Hahndorf to the city to sell their produce. Each year, more than 1,000 walkers come together to honour this journey while enjoying a truly memorable day in the Adelaide Hills. Participants will enjoy country roads, laneways and bush tracks framed by autumn colours, passing historic homes and scenic landscapes along the way. Walkers can choose their starting point from Hahndorf (26km), Bridgewater (19km) or Stirling (12km), depending on preference and ability. The walk concludes at Beaumont House, where food trucks, live music and beautiful gardens provide the perfect place to relax, celebrate and connect with fellow walkers.
