| Applications are now open for the Friends of the State Library of South Australia Deane Miller Fellowship, a new opportunity supporting the research and development of an original creative work inspired by the State Library of South Australia’s collections.The Fellowship offers $15,000 cash, plus in-kind research and promotional support, providing time, access, and expertise to develop new work grounded in the richness of the Library’s collections. Open to creatives across disciplines, including writers, researchers, artists, designers, musicians, performers and more, the Fellowship invites you to explore, interpret and create from the past in ways that are new, bold and unexpected. The Deane Miller Fellowship is generously supported by the Friends of the State Library of South Australia and presented by the State Library of South Australia. Applications close Friday 31 July 2026 at 5pm ACST. |
